Direct. Paste a Discord webhook URL into RecordableCall and notes post themselves — nothing to install.

Discord webhooks work the same way Slack's do: a URL you copy out of channel settings, no bot to invite and no permissions to negotiate. Notes arrive as an embed — a titled block with the note as its body — rather than as raw text.

What arrives in Discord

An embed titled with the call type, the note as its description, the call length in the footer, and a link back to the recording. Discord rejects embeds over 4,096 characters outright, so long notes are trimmed to stay under that.

How to set it up

    Copy a webhook URL from Discord

    Open the channel, then Edit Channel → Integrations → Webhooks → New Webhook. Name it and press Copy Webhook URL.

    Paste it into RecordableCall

    From the link we text you, open your recordings list, choose Discord, paste the URL and save.

    Send a test

    Press Send test and watch the channel. Discord's error responses are passed back to you unchanged if something is wrong.

The settings live behind the link we text you after a call — open it, follow See all your recordings, and the destination form is at the bottom. There are no accounts here, so proving the number is yours is what stands in for a login.

What it's good for

  • Community and volunteer calls

    Discord is where a lot of communities already coordinate, and notes in the channel save writing a recap post.

  • Coaching sessions

    A private channel per person becomes a running record of what was agreed each session.

Questions

Do I need a bot?
No. A channel webhook is not a bot — nothing joins your server and nothing can read messages.
Can anyone in the channel open the recording?
Only with your download code. The embed links to the recording page; the page still asks for the code that was texted to you.
